Not just positive which species this is as there are quite a few and none of the descriptions seem to fit exactly. However it is really a nice buffer plant for mid to rear border with its white-tomentose leaves and clusters of tiny pinkish flowers in dense heads. Though its flowers are none too conspicuous (an advantage perhaps for its use as a neutral foliage plant) they bloom all summer and are very attractive to butterflies. The foliage has an invigorating aromatic fragrance. Zone 4-5.
