An impressive four foot plant native to the American Southwest blooming in June and July with large pink and white flowers that are fragrant. Good for sandy soil and also heat and drought tolerant–really quite hardy and adaptable. The gray-glaucous, glabrous foliage is quite attractive, and if not cut in the flowering stage, the stalks are good for dried material. Zone 5.
