Also called BLUE MIST for its haze of blue flowers in the summer and fall garden. It should be treated like the Butterfly bush to keep it compact and floriferous–it usually dies to the ground here anyway. Treated this way and used as a perennial it will add much to the late summer border. Besides the wonderful flowers, the grey-green leaves are attractive and pungently scented of lavender and resin.
