EGYPTIAN WHEAT
Sorghum bicolor durra
$2.00
Also called Egyptian Corn, this is actually a member of the Sorghum family and probably one of the oldest cultivated crops. The cream to tan seed heads are large and looser than milo and are borne on tall sturdy stalks to 6-8 feet or so. Handsome planted as a clump, the seed heads are nice for cutting but good to leave for winter food for songbirds, upland game birds and others.
